Foiling can be frustrating...
Absolutely amazing, of course... but not always easy, particularly when you're just getting started.
I often feel like I'm either navigating through an endless sea of information trying to make sense of it. Or I'm just not able to find any answers at all.
Facebook groups, subreddits, forums, buried Instagram comments, and endless YouTube videos — I find myself constantly scouring them all.
You see the same questions being asked over and over again. "What foil should I buy?" "Where can I get lessons?" "What's the best way to learn?" "What's the best gear?" "What's reliable?" "Who's an expert?" "Who's right?"
But then other times you can't find any answers at all.
Not to mention, it's hard to know what are open an honest posts versus biased.
FoilFind, is my attempt to make things a little less frustrating. To make finding anything foil related a whole lot easier.
I'm building this site to hopefully save you time, get you answers, and maybe make foiling even more fun.
The mission is to provide a reliable place for all things foil-related, whether that’s shops, lessons, gear, or expert advice.
This project is still a work in progress with a long way to go. Right now, there's limited information and functionality. But it's a start.
I'd love to hear your feedback, suggestions, and any advice you have to make it the best it can be.
Send me message on Instagram, YouTube, or an email with your thoughts and ideas. Every piece of input helps.
